That's When You Blew My Mind

about

That's When You Blew My Mind - the song takes you on a trip from Moscow to the Andes. The guitars evoke the sound of the wilderness. Sajama is a volcano, on the border of Bolivia and Chile.

lyrics

I first saw you in Moscow, down in the metro
You were standing on another platfrom
Heading the other way
I knew I had to reach you but
I didn't know how to
Bridge the distance between us.
I didn't know what to say.

We drove into the mountains, across the altiplano
Taking dirt roads to Sajama
Fording streams
For hours we saw no one
Just the condors and the llamas
Until we crossed the border
And headed to the sea

I thought you would walk away
And never look behind
When you stopped and took my hand
That's when you blew my mind.
